Get ready for a hilariously chaotic experience with our 2D platformer Cat VS Squirrels! Developed during the Global Game Jam 2024 under the theme "Make me laugh," this game promises an entertaining blend of action and humor. 

Controls

• Movement: Guide Catman with ease using arrow keys or A and D for lateral movement.
• Jumping: Leap over obstacles and dodge incoming nuts with the space bar.
• Wall Jump: Access higher areas by mastering wall jumps. Bounce off walls by jumping towards them and pressing the jump button again to reach even greater heights.
• Attack: Unleash fury with your AK using the left mouse button, aiming 360%
• Squirrel Enemies: Watch out! Squirrels spawn faster and faster, hurling nuts and relentlessly chasing Catman.
• Health & Survival: You've got seven hearts – guard them well! The game's over when they're gone.
• Scoreboard: Aim for high scores by surviving longer and defeating more squirrels, then brag about it on the leaderboard!

What's the Game All About?

Cat VS Squirrels is an action-packed platformer game where players embody Catman, equipped with an Automatic Canon, in a ludicrous battle against nut-hurling squirrels. With only seven health points, your mission is to survive this absurd onslaught, all while chuckling at the game's comical scenario.

Prepare to be engulfed in amusement, laughter, and a rush of excitement as you dodge, jump, and fire in this chaotic universe. We’ve designed every aspect to tickle your funny bone – from the quirky characters and wacky weapons to the zany animations and scenarios.

Progression & Goals

There are no levels or upgrades; your progression is your skill. As you get better, surviving longer and racking up higher scores becomes the new challenge. The goal? Laugh, survive, and conquer the leaderboard in this wacky showdown!
